-
45% of food stamp recipients are children
You can help and have a fun-filled family evening at the same time.
This unique annual event features a showcase of one-of-a-kind bowls handcrafted by professional and student artists. Guests enjoy a sampling of gourmet soups, breads, and sweets prepared by chefs from local restaurants. They take home one of these empty bowls as a reminder of all the empty bowls due to hunger in the local community.
Proceeds of the event go to Community Lifeline Center to help provide food for their Community Lifeline Market as well as Feeding Friends and Families mobile distributions and to Community Garden Kitchen to serve hot meals to anyone in need, no questions asked.
