Amaco underglaze and zinc free clear glaze.

• What was your process when you created this bowl?

I transferred an original drawing to the inside surface and handpainted with underglaze. My daughter threw the bowl and created decoration on the outside using a technique called chattering. The bowl was then dipped in a clear glaze and fired a third time.

• What inspired you to donate your bowl to Empty Bowls McKinney?

I have been supporting Empty Bowls since the beginning of the function. It is my way of giving back to the community.

• Fun fact:

I do pottery but really want to be a painter.
